I was born in St-Elzéar in the Gaspé region of Quebec (Canada) in 1967. I started painting in 1989 after visiting an exhibition of Salvador Dali at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. Deeply impressed by the power of this master, I realized that painting offered infinite possibilities, and from the outset began to create original works. I draw my inspiration from images of my happy childhood spent close to nature on the Gaspé Peninsula. My style is somewhere between surrealism and naive art, but it's becoming more and more naïve, as if my perception of natural reality is becoming more and more naïve and joyful. I've created a new style that's unique in the world: heliocentrism, which is a derivative of pointillism. I paint with my soul and am constantly in search of beauty and light. Exhibitions have followed one another over the past thirty years, and my creative field is expanding all the time. I'm a member of CIAAZ (Collectif International d'Artiste Art Zoom) in Quebec City, Mondial Art Academia in France and L'AVS (Artistes Visuels de Sherbrooke). I live in Sherbrooke, Quebec (Canada).
